New Traditions

COME WORSHIP WITH US AS WE BEGIN OUR
NEW TRADITIONS SERVICE
AT 10:30 A.M. EACH SUNDAY BEGINNING SEPTEMBER 10th

The New Traditions Worship at Zion is casual, family friendly, informal, and grounded in the Word and Sacrament.  We celebrate Holy Communion each week, have a Noisy Offering gathered by our younger members, enjoy a Children’s Sermon by our Youth Director, and give our children the opportunity to play a musical instrument for our final sending song.  We sing popular Christian music and make use of our large screen for visual media throughout the service.  We follow the pattern of Lutheran Worship-Gathering, Word, Meal and Sending.

Our Sunday School curriculum is on a rotational schedule consisting of arts/crafts, videos, drama, and cooking by using the Spark Bible Storybook.  Every few Sundays, our Sunday School students run the entire 10:30 New Traditions Service, including the sermon, with one common theme that they have been studying.

We serve coffee, donuts, and smoothies from our River Brew Area during the 45 minute service.

Please come and share in our excitement of the New Traditions Worship Service!
