WELCA

Purpose Statement of the Women of the ELCA

As a community of Women created in the image of God, called to discipleship in Jesus Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit.

We commit ourselves to grow in faith, affirm out gifts, support one another in our callings, engage in ministry and action, and promote healing and wholeness in the Church, the society, and the world.

WELCA meets second Tuesday at noon (unless otherwise listed) for luncheon and short program. Executive Board meets the same day at 11 a.m. (One member from each circle should attend board meetings to report back to circles.) Circle Leaders Bible Study to follow meeting. Circles meet fourth Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, and during summer months as desired.
